Join Our Team as a Class B Truck Driver

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Class B Truck Driver to manage the delivery and pickup of containers efficiently and safely while building excellent relationships with our customers. If you are driven, safety-conscious, and have a good rapport with customers, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism for loading and unloading containers at customer locations.
  • Conduct thorough daily pre and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and lift system.
  • Be flexible and accept additional deliveries as necessary to support business operations.
  • Utilize a company-issued handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation.
  • Operate a forklift and/or overhead crane as needed.
  • Clean and inspect containers to present them in great condition for delivery.
  • Coordinate rental paperwork and payment with our customers smoothly.
  • Communicate effectively with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding any customer queries or challenges.
  • Perform field repairs on containers and lifts, as required.
  • Support storage center functions during peak times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized truck cab, ensuring it's free from debris.
  • Be ready to take on other duties as assigned.

Management & Supervisory Structure:

  • You will report to a Management figure, with supervisors typically holding titles like Market Manager or Territory Manager.
  • This position does not include direct supervision or management of other employees.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid CDL Class B License required, without air brake restriction.
  • Must maintain a valid driver license.
  • Meet the PODS Driver Qualification Standards.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age (to meet insurance requirements).
  • Possess a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or the ability to obtain a minimum one-year certification (DOT requirement).
  • Experience with electronic equipment and software is preferred.
  • Strong math skills are necessary to perform job duties.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, or experience will be considered.
  • Willingness to attend the required 2-week New Hire Driver Training Program.
