Nurse Program Coordinator

Education:
Bachelors of Nursing required; Masters in Nursing preferred
AND
Experience:
Minimum 2 yearsrsquo; experience as Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse. 1 Year of supervisory experience preferred.
Under the supervision of the Nurse Director, the Wound and Ostomy Program Coordinator assumes program specific leadership responsibilities that assist in managing human, fiscal, and other resources needed to support clinical nursing practice for patients with wound or ostomy needs. He/she works collaboratively with physicians and nursing to recommend specialized care for patients with wounds and ostomy concerns and is competent to make recommendations for wound/ostomy care for patients from neonatal to geriatric. He/she participates in operational management including budgeting, managing supplies, and safety issues.
