Anti-Trafficking Residential Coordinator

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Anti-Trafficking Residential Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Project Light program and the supervision of residential staff and volunteers. The Residential Coordinator will assist with the development and effective program planning and implementation. She collaborates with the Program Director and Case Manager to provide optimal continuum of care for each participant.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
House Management
- Collaborate with residential staff to coordinate and facilitate activities of the daily schedule with residents, volunteers, interns or other staff
- Assist in any participant program requirements, e.g., class instruction, intake orientation, groups, assessments, reviews, discharges
- Assist residential staff as needed to arrange for transportation for participant appointments and support group meetings, shopping, etc.
- Oversee all staff and participant financial activity and reporting
- Supervise the program staff, Resident Assistants and committed volunteers, determines schedules, back-ups, emergency response
- Ensure adequate and qualified staff and volunteer involvement to carry out the program activities
- Assist the Program Director in the selection, hiring, coaching and discipline of residential staff
- Assist the Program Director to ensure the proper orientation and on-going training of staff, development of a yearly staff training plan and completion of annual staff evaluations
- Direct, plan and coordinate the work of the residential staff including scheduling, regular supervision meetings and team building
- Assist Program Director in recruitment and training of volunteers/interns
- Oversee all volunteers/interns associated with program, including training, resolving issues, and providing acknowledgements
- Review Shift Notes on a regular basis to maintain an ongoing awareness of house activity and interactions as recorded by residential staff
- Maintain regular communication with residential staff and volunteers to ensure the safe and effective operation of the program
- Maintain daily communication with residential staff concerning scheduling and events
- Act as liaison and bridge of communication between program and administration
- Collaborate with Case Manager to communicate resident case management goals that require the supportive involvement of residential staff
- Organize, attend and facilitate (as requested) weekly staff meetings to maintain effective communication and healthy relationships with staff
- Review and update all program forms, intakes, handbooks and other materials needed for effective program operation
- Provide progress updates to Program Director and Case Manager upon request
- Engage with Care Team in a supportive and respectful manner
- Serve as a credible and courteous ambassador of the Raleigh Dream Center particularly to external service providers, residents and team members
- Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, social work, counseling or related field
- Knowledge of/experience with trauma-informed care and/or residential services to women
- Knowledge of/experience with principles of Empowerment, Strength-Based skills and knowledge of Trauma, PTSD and Complex Trauma
- Minimum of two years experience in a supervisory role
- Experience with problem solving, conflict resolution and crisis management
- Proficient in computer use and case management software
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Competent in professional reporting and communication
- Must have a current, valid driver's license
- Successfully pass background checks and random drug testing
- CPR and First-Aid certification preferred or be willing to obtain training after hire
- Must be willing to complete job specific training pertaining to Human Trafficking, including Trauma Informed Care, and the Triune Care Model after hire.
