What Success Looks Like:
  • Work from manufacturing orders, verbal, or written instructions.
  • General housekeeping and daily/weekly 5s duties.
  • May install base, rail, nosing, and other parts to sub assembled or fully assembled thresholds and astragals.
  • Package and label product to required customer specifications.
  • May use semi or fully automated machines as well as manual assembly operations.
  • Utilize basic setup charts, understand quality procedures and specifications. Will perform and document all quality checks as required and must understand the importance and significance of each.
  • Make simple machine adjustments and changeovers, requisition stock, clean fixtures, position parts, actuate, clear jams, inspect parts, monitor machine, clean, lubricate, and dispose of scrap.
  • Keep simple records and notify supervisor or lead hand of unusual conditions, machine malfunctions or injuries.
  • Use of basic machines and hand tools such as punches, presses, nail/staple guns, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.
  • Use decimal tape measure, calipers, micrometers, comparators gages, fixtures, and other quality equipment to maintain control of your process.
Your Credentials:
  • Continuous mental and visual attention, usually repetitive work or diversified operations requiring constant alertness.
  • Continuously moving light material occasionally moving average weight material.
  • Use of basic mathematics, reading, writing skills, follow instructions. Use fixed gages and simple measurement devices.
  • Use of some judgement to comply with instructions or prescribed routines, methods, or practices involving the making of minor decisions.
  • Can work overtime on short notice as required.


Hourly Range is $15-$20/hour based on experience plus $1.00/hour shift premium (for second shift) Second shift = 4:00pm – 2:30am
