Old Dominion Brush Company, a subsidiary of Alamo Group, is seeking a skilled Broom Assembler to join its team in Richmond, VA. As a Broom Assembler, you will play a crucial role in assembling various types of brooms from provided parts and pieces.

• Assemble brooms using automated machinery and manual techniques
• Perform maintenance checks on machines to ensure optimal performance
• Use a welder to tack metal bristles to frames (wafers) of replacement brooms
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, wearing required PPE
• Meet daily production amounts and maintain attention to quality

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• 1-3 years' experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment using manual assembly techniques
• Able to understand English and use hand and power tools
• Positive team-based attitude and willingness to cross-train on machinery

The Broom Assembler will work in a loud manufacturing environment, standing, walking, and using hands or fingers to handle or feel. The position requires lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 35 pounds unassisted and working near moving mechanical parts.
