As an SBA Servicing Specialist, you will perform multiple functions related to SBA loan servicing for non-complex loans. Maintain proper loan records, quotes loan payoffs to SBA and borrower, ensures servicing requests are processed accurately, in accordance with SBA and internal guidelines, and within established service level standards.

In this role you'll have the opportunity to:

    • Prepare collateral releases for SBA loan portfolio. Monitor and process paid loan reports in accordance to established controls prior to releasing liens or collateral instruments.
    • Responsible for servicing actions for any SBA loans with the aggregate less than $500K. Act as customer contact throughout servicing action and work with SBA Credit Analyst for financial input.
    • Responsible for quoting and processing SBA payoff correspondence. Interact with title and escrow companies as needed.
    • Prepare all payoff letters to SBA on all participated loans.
    • Responsible for complying with SBA loan program requirements, Banner Bank's policies, procedures and security agreements and government regulations.
    • Monitor SBA compliance in all servicing actions within the SBA loan portfolio. Review loan documents associated with the servicing actions, follow up with boarding of loan documents and completion of the actions within the SBA system.
    • Responsible for scanning documents into imaging system after servicing action is complete and filling all documents within SBA loan files.

Education & Certifications
    • H.S. Diploma: required (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
Experience
    • 0 to 2 years of commercial loan servicing experience required
    • SBA commercial loan servicing preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Possess excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
    • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment with frequent changes in priorities and an emphasis on customer service and teamwork.
    • Possess good organization skills, and the ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
    • Knowledge of SBA Servicing rules and requirements.
    • Basic working knowledge of the administration, scanning, and indexing of loan documents into the imaging system. Thorough knowledge of service level agreements and the proper loan documents required for imaging.

    • Targeted starting compensation range is based on location and experience: $23.71-$27.90
