Surgical Technician

The successful candidate:

  • Full-time Benefits - You will receive 21 Personal Time Off Days, 7 Holidays off and you are able to participate in our company-matched 401(k) and our Employee Assistance programs

  • This is a full-time 12hr shift where you will be scheduled to work 3 days a week with call.

  • Ensure the operating room environment is safe, that equipment functions properly, and that the operative procedures are conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety.

  • Properly handle the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure.

  • Ensures quality patient care at all times during the operative procedure and maintenance of the sterile field.

  • Acts as a consultant to the healthcare profession, patient or caregiver regarding patient advocacy and delivery of safe, competent, and quality perioperative care.

Minimum Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist training program

Minimum Experience

  • 2 years surgical tech experience, preferred

  • Participation in continuing education programs

Required Certification/Licensure

  • Must have an active BLS certification
