The 6th floor comprises a 38-bed medical-surgical and stroke nursing unit dedicated to the care of adult to geriatric patients. Our nursing team is responsible for managing the care of patients with acute medical-surgical conditions, encompassing a diverse array of diagnoses and care requirements. Through a collaborative interdisciplinary approach, we strive to deliver exceptional, individualized care to our patients. We aim for a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6, supported by Patient Care Technicians and various ancillary departments, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care to patients across the lifespan, employing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Operate within the framework of organizational policies and procedures, demonstrating professional growth and accountability while maintaining standards of practice.
- Coordinate patient care activities among all assigned staff to ensure the provision of quality nursing care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- New graduates of nursing programs are encouraged to apply
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Georgia or NLC/eNLC Multistate License; BLS certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced certification in specialty field and nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
