About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Land Administrator. The successful candidate will work closely with our Land Department to provide support for various land-related activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain lease records, including lease agreements, assignments, amendments, JOAs, etc.
  • Process lease and contract payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate with landowners, land, and legal teams to resolve lease-related issues.
  • Conduct title research and verification to ensure property ownership and rights.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory filings and documentation to government agencies.
  • Assist in the negotiation and drafting of lease agreements, assignments, deeds, and contracts.
  • Monitor lease expirations, renewals, and initiate necessary actions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as landmen, operations, and finance, to support land-related activities.
  • Maintain electronic and physical filing systems for lease and contract documents.
  • Provide administrative support to the land department, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to land administration.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives to improve land management processes and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to land management.
  • Provide support for other tasks as assigned.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of land-related legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, iLandman and other relevant software tools.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
  • 3+ years of recent oil and gas experience in Land Administration
