Job Summary: The Infrastructure Engineer ensures secure, compliant, and scalable cloud infrastructure operations. This role reports to the Director of Infrastructure.

Essential Functions:
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.
  • Support and operate AWS shared services components.
  • Provision and manage cloud solutions including compute, storage, and networking.
  • Automate AWS solutions using Python, Terraform, and Ansible.
  • Manage AWS AMIs with Packer and Ansible.
  • Monitor cloud performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Research and evaluate new AWS services.
  • Ensure system security on Linux and Windows-based systems.
  • Integrate cloud infrastructure with existing systems.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Foster collaboration and effective communication.
Education Required:
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge & Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of AWS cloud experience.
  • Expertise in incident identification and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with AWS services (VPC, S3, EC2, RDS, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance (HI TRUST / SOC II).
  • AWS certifications preferred.
  • Experience documenting technical requirements.
