Role Summary:
The Infrastructure Engineer plays a crucial role in managing various aspects of Clarity's technology infrastructure. This position is essential for maintaining a secure, compliant, and efficient cloud infrastructure. The individual will ensure that cloud solutions adhere to HIPAA, HITRUST, and other relevant security and compliance standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and sustain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Support and operate AWS shared services components.
  • Provision and manage cloud resources, including computing, storage, and networking.
  • Automate cloud solutions using AWS services, Python, Terraform, and Ansible.
  • Maintain AWS AMIs, utilizing Packer and Ansible for image standards.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Evaluate and provide insights on new AWS services and solutions.
  • Possess a solid understanding of patch management for Linux and Windows systems to ensure security and stability.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment of cloud infrastructure components.
  • Promote a collaborative work environment, showcasing strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in the AWS cloud environment.
  • Proficiency in incident identification, problem-solving, and root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with AWS services such as VPC, S3, EC2, RDS, IAM, and others.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices for data protection and compliance.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of AWS capabilities for effective cloud solution design and management.
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner or higher-level AWS certifications are preferred.
  • Experience in documenting technical requirements and procedures for clear communication and knowledge transfer.
