About the Role: The Lead Testing Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Paint Stores Group by ensuring the quality and reliability of applications that facilitate collaboration among sales representatives when selling to large organizations or buildings. This position involves leading the development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for Sherwin-Williams products. The incumbent will be responsible for creating and executing software test plans, automated scripts, and programs, as well as overseeing the documentation of test results and providing strategic advice to development engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of quality assurance engineers, devising strategies to define and implement quality standards for Sherwin-Williams products.
- Lead the implementation of software test plans, automated scripts, and programs.
- Review and validate test strategies, standards, and procedures in alignment with leading practices, providing guidance to junior team members as needed.
- Oversee the documentation of test results to facilitate debugging and modification of software.
- Develop strategies for improving automation integration, testing, and deployment of solution quality.
- Proactively monitor and identify quality issues, recommending corrective actions.
- Drive the quality of test results to ensure existing functionality and provide strategic guidance for appropriate corrective measures.
- Collaborate strategically with development engineers to resolve complex incidents and problems.
- Provide technical feedback and oversight in the evaluation of programming languages, systems, and computation software.
Technical Qualifications:
- 6-8 years of experience in quality assurance engineering or software testing
- Extensive knowledge of software testing standards, policies, methodologies, tools, and processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
