Summary:
As a Production Operator in the sheeting cell, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them.

Key Responsibilities

  • This position rotates between operating the sheeter, guillotine machine and jogger.
  • Sheeting operation includes obtaining base material (rolls) from the warehouse, set up the sheeting machine to specified sheet sizes according to work orders, and stage for the next step.
  • Guillotine operation includes cutting sheets to a specific size and tolerance and completing quality checks
  • Jogging operation requires operator to safely lift stacks of sheets into the required lift height for the guillotine
  • Prepare materials and product for packaging and shipment to customers
  • Utilizes scanning for recording movement of incoming and outgoing materials (RF Scanning)
  • Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment
  • Teamwork and communication are essential part of the job
  • You will work in a production environment with the appropriate safety procedures in place

Qualifications
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, work any job, and work overtime as needed
