Position Overview:
As a Production Operator within the sheeting cell, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that high-quality products are delivered to our clients in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rotate between operating the sheeter, guillotine machine, and jogger.
  • Manage sheeting operations by retrieving base materials from inventory, configuring the sheeting machine to specified dimensions per work orders, and preparing for subsequent processes.
  • Execute guillotine operations by cutting sheets to precise sizes and tolerances while performing quality assurance checks.
  • Handle jogging operations, which involve safely lifting stacks of sheets to the necessary height for guillotine processing.
  • Prepare materials and products for packaging and distribution.
  • Utilize scanning technology to track the movement of incoming and outgoing materials (RF Scanning).
  • Operate both motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
  • Foster teamwork and maintain effective communication as essential components of the role.
  • Work within a production environment adhering to established safety protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is preferred.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, perform various tasks, and accommodate overtime as necessary.
