Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the management of plant facilities and utilities to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
  • Engage in initiatives related to the Conagra Performance System Planned Maintenance Pillar.
  • Develop and manage the maintenance operating budget while monitoring departmental costs.
  • Execute the capital plan, including engineering design and project management, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and operational permits.
  • Oversee the completion of maintenance tasks through regular inspections and discussions with operations and vendors regarding various systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience with ammonia systems and utilities management.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance within a food production environment.
  • Strong understanding of PLC and logic controls for high-speed machinery.
  • Familiarity with production environment SAP systems.
  • Proven experience in project management and facilities oversight, with a track record of successfully managing projects and teams.
  • Experience in overseeing the construction of complex projects.
  • Ability to lead teams effectively and achieve objectives through resource management.
Physical Demands

This role requires effective communication skills, as well as the ability to stand, walk, and occasionally sit. You may need to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, and color vision, along with depth perception. The work environment may vary in temperature and noise levels.
