Fosun aspires to become a leader in specialty generics, 505b2, a branded pharmaceutical company, by developing cutting-edge, innovative products focusing on therapeutic areas such as oncology, auto-immune, CNS, etc. Pipeline expansion through internal R&D development, business development/licensing with a focus on the high barrier, complex, innovative 505b(2), including incubator of early-stage exploratory 505b(1) product with cutting edge technology, and asset acquisition in select therapeutic areas.

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced leader in Marketing to join our Innovative Medicines Team. This role is responsible for developing late-stage clinical products and help progress internal and external assets to build portfolio. This key leader will work closely with the Innovative Medicines' CCO, as well as be the commercial partner to the medical team to lead marketing strategy development processes in support of launch and portfolio. This will be a highly visible role within the organization. Main responsibilities:

  • Lead and build strategic marketing function for Innovative Medicines at Fosun Pharma USA
  • Lead portfolio planning aligned to company strategy
  • Partner with R&D and all the other strategic counterparts to design and lead product development programs from a commercial perspective. Leverage strong understanding of product development process and functional areas such as quality and regulatory
  • Work with cross functional partners to develop an integrated launch plan
  • Shape brand strategy and lead execution aligned to business strategy
  • Establish Fosun's reputation in the US market, setting the stage for future product launches
  • Provide expert input to the global strategy from the US market perspective
  • Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products and processes. Utilize understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent Marketing experience is required. An MBA is a strong plus.
  • 10+years commercial experience (access, marketing, sales) in the US (preferred), with at least 7+ years in marketing across different roles. Launch experience is a must. Oncology experience is highly desirable.
  • Team leadership is a must and possessing the ability to contribute and create as an individual.
  • Demonstrated experience in refinement and execution of the overall brand strategy, leading all aspects of tactical execution and leading complex cross-functional teams to accomplish brand objectives
  • Experience launching/marketing a brand using omnichannel as a significant part of promotion.
  • Understanding of marketing technology and how to use it to effectively market a product.
  • Proven experience leading the creation, development, and implementation of marketing strategies and plans, key messages and promotional activities to increase brand awareness and accelerate profitable revenue growth while collaborating with the field force.
