Position: Desktop Support Tech
Location: 100 Distribution Cir, Mt Pleasant, PA 15666
Duration: 6 Month (2 days or 3 days a week role)
Pay rate - $20/hr. on W2

ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities
  1. On-Site Support Services will be provided by Supplier Personnel who will have a business .
  2. Two to three (2-3) year's providing IT Infrastructure field support which includes troubleshooting hardware, software, operating system issues and problems and fixing the issues without impacting / violating the hardware warranty or customer security compliance requirements.
  3. Hands on experience in installing, troubleshooting and fixing desktops, printers, laptop and other computer peripherals hardware problems.
  4. Experience or ability to follow installation instructions in installing and troubleshooting desktop applications.
  5. Basic knowledge of enterprise LAN and WAN setups and concepts. Ability to perform smart hand support under instruction based activities at sites.
  6. Skilled in desk side support and PC break/fix including basic administration of Windows O/S. Basic Mac O/S support may need to be provided by certain FTEs. Client will identify any such need during the transition and communicate to Client the locations where basic MAC O/S support may be required in advance of the Go-Live Date.
  7. Lead Supplier prefers, where commercially practical, that the 'Subcontractor' use technicians with an Associate's Degree in Electronics and CompTIA A+ Certification.
  8. Smart hand support for peripheral and networking hardware, including, but not limited to: monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, scanners, routers, wireless routers, switches, firewalls, all under 'Smart Hands' capability which is primarily Hands & Legs support and only guided by L2 Team. Scaling heights or climbing ladders, roof etc will be out of scope for OSS team.
  9. Good written, oral communications skills and good people management skills with clients and management.
  10. All onsite engineers will adhere to workplace health and safety policy as agreed with customer.
  11. All onsite engineers will adhere to workplace access control standard.
  12. OSS dispatch & Scheduled Visit Sites support is Hands & Feet Support. This team will governed by Central team from Lead supplier.
  13. Onsite support engineers will be supported by regional leads from Local Customer, who will act as a point of escalation for the respective region as per the support matrix provided.
