Timeline: Immediate Start

Are you a detail-oriented team player with a knack for interpreting engineering drawings and using precision measuring tools? We're looking for a General Mechanical Inspector to join our receiving inspection department immediately

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret engineering drawings with precision.
  • Utilize common measuring devices such as calipers, radius gages, micrometers, optical comparators, Deltronic pins, and vision systems.
  • Create and document non-conformances.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Sit for extended periods while performing inspection tasks.
  • Communicate effectively and work well within a team.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Strong ability to focus, prioritize, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to review assembly/test documentation for traceability and adherence to internal procedures.
  • Experience inspecting to IPC-J-STD-001 Space Addendum and/or NASA 8739.4 standards.
  • Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Qualifications:

  • Fully proficient in job knowledge and skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in aerospace.

25-39 an hour
