Job Title: Chief Aviation Inspector

SkyBridge Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Aviation Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our aircraft are maintained in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and manufacturers' specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections of aircraft maintenance activities to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and manufacturers' specifications.
  • Review and approve maintenance records, including maintenance forms, parts tags, and job cards.
  • Train and assist maintenance personnel in performing inspections and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure that all maintenance and alterations are performed in accordance with the Ratings and Operations Specifications of the FAA 145 Repair Station.
  • Report any identified risks associated with the repair station to the Chief Inspector.
Requirements:
  • Active and current FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics License with current FAA Inspection Authorization.
  • Minimum of 2 years of inspection experience.
  • Strong understanding of FAA regulations and inspection methods, techniques, and equipment.
  • Proven track record of consistent performance while delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Demonstrated record of integrity and sound ethical judgment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Five years of experience at an airline or MRO.
Work Environment:

The Chief Aviation Inspector will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Physical Requirements:

The Chief Aviation Inspector must be able to perform frequent walking, sitting, stooping, stretching, bending, reaching, and grasping actions. Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
