We are Aspire Living & Learning, a non-profit human services agency making a meaningful difference in the lives of adults and children with autism and other disabilities.

Aspire Living & Learning is currently seeking a a Help Desk Systems Specialist to ensure the smooth operation and security of our computer network, hardware, and software. This role involves providing remote technical support, troubleshooting services, and user training while maintaining a secure IT environment. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing flexibility between remote work, on-site support, and office-based tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to user inquiries and technical issues, offering efficient solutions and temporary fixes when necessary.
  • Provide training and support to users on standard software applications and hardware, both individually and in group settings.
  • Collaborate with department staff and vendors to diagnose and resolve software and data-related issues.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support PC hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Manage Information Systems projects, including needs assessments, research, and evaluation.
  • Generate activity and project status reports as required.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in computer engineering or relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in user support with a focus on customer service.
  • Proficiency with Windows, iOS, and OSX operating systems.
  • 1+ years of experience in cloud computing, specifically Microsoft Azure.
  • 2+ years of experience working with PC hardware, operations, and configuration.
  • Knowledge of computer network operating systems, internet technologies, and troubleshooting methods.
  • Familiarity with training and instruction techniques in a professional environment.
Working Conditions:
  • Professional office environment with hybrid work arrangements.
  • Occasional travel to group homes and state offices may be required.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 10 pounds and perform various physical tasks.
  • Routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and audio/visual equipment.
