Developmental Specialist

**Sign on Bonus Paid Training**

**Part time Schedule: Monday - **Friday 8:30 am-2:30pm

Also looking to hire staff with variable availability for day shifts during the weekdays.

**No nights, no weekends**

**Pay: $16 per hour - Paid training provided by Venture**

**Sign On Bonus: $1000 for Full Time and $500 for Part Time employees**

As a Developmental Specialist, you will assist and teach individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in all aspects of their lives, while supporting them in a day habilitation setting. You will support and empower individuals to make choices that allows them to assume an increasing amount of control, and responsibility over their lives. Developmental Specialists help individuals lead a full and meaningful life, and are instrumental in the development of an individual’s independence. As a Developmental Specialist, you will work with an individual on their person specific goals and objectives, providing support and guidance.

**Marginal Duties**:
Ability to bend, lift, stoop, transfer, push/pull, reach, and stand for a prolonged period of time

Ability to use basic computer functions, or be willing to learn basic computer skills

Attend to other program and/or individual needs as directed by supervisor

**Qualifications**:
No experience needed

Must maintain CPR/First Aid certification - trainings and recertification class provided

Pay: $16.00 per hour
