The Role:

As the Recruiting/HR Assistant, you will be collaborating with hiring managers to understand program-specific needs and guides them through the hiring process, ensuring applications are properly screened and responded to. Provides ongoing support with the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), aiding in job advertisement creation, job requisition completion, and applicant progression. Maintains timely communication with applicants and assists in drafting and sending offer letters. Manages background check processes, including data input, tracking, and handling questionable results with HR staff. Prepares for New Hire Orientation by creating folders, sending welcome packets, and completing administrative tasks. Maintains the ATS, posts job opportunities on various platforms, represents the organization at job fairs, and fosters partnerships with agencies and schools. Assists with screening, scheduling interviews, ensuring legal compliance, attending relevant meetings and events, and performing additional tasks as needed.

What we're looking for:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• 1+ years relevant experience in customer service; experience with staffing/recruiting or strong interest in the field is desirable but not required
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to utilize technology provided to perform requirements of the job
• Hold a valid driver's license and proof of vehicle liability coverage.
