Employee Benefits Account Manager

Position Overview: The Employee Benefits Account Manager plays a pivotal role in assisting PDCM's employer clients in managing their group employee benefit options. This position will act as a dedicated advocate ensuring that the client's benefits align with their specific needs and preferences.
Work Arrangement: This is a full-time, hybrid position reporting to our office located in Waterloo, IA. Computer equipment will be provided by the company upon hire.
Professional Responsibilities:
- Manage client inquiries via phone and email, process policy changes, handle claims, and troubleshoot issues. Address escalated complaints and coordinate with clients, Producers, and carriers.
- Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues, share ideas, and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Navigate various systems to gather and input data, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures.
- Prepare and organize client applications, quotes, and insurance renewals with attention to detail.
- Create and coordinate renewal documents and proposals, ensuring all information is accurate and professionally presented.
- Assist in cross-selling products, increase client retention, and maintain positive client relationships through proactive communication.
- Minimum of 1 years' experience in a customer support or account management position
- High School Diploma/GED
- Active Iowa Property & Casualty insurance license
- Experience in the Employee Benefits Insurance industry preferred
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
- Proficient with use of Microsoft Office Suite and products
- A passion for being part of a team that drives our company to industry leadership
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both peers and clients
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
