Position Overview The Strategic Account Manager orchestrates and executes the health system strategy and expanding patient access by forming partnerships across key stakeholders within the regional Independent Delivery Networks (IDNs), health systems and academic institutions in order to support the adoption of Exact Sciences solutions to enhance clinical decision making and improve the system of care. This role will work collaboratively with other market stakeholders and Exact Sciences teams to shape and execute strategic plans in liaison with assigned IDNs to build the foundation for improved patient outcomes. This position is field-based, supporting Atlanta, GA; Pensacola, FL; and Mobile, AL. The candidate must reside within the market, with a strong preference for being based in Atlanta. Essential Duties Include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Generate deep insight into local healthcare ecosystems comprising integrated delivery networks (IDNs) and the Healthcare Practitioners (HCPs) aligned with that system in order to identify opportunities to enhance the system of care and deliver improved patient outcomes. Analyze the treatment journey across the local system of care in order to identify opportunities to work with HCPs to improve clinical decision making and deliver better patient and population health outcomes in the context of Exact Sciences future pipelines. Build a network of relationships with key stakeholders across the healthcare system in order to gain insight into system, customer and patient unmet needs, including clinical stakeholders, administrators and policy makers. Synthesize data from a range of formal and informal sources to understand the evolving and dynamic local care system, identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness and share with managed care, sales, marketing and other cross-functional colleagues. 2.
