QC Administrative Assistant

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Quality Control Administrative Assistant position is responsible for performing administrative work within the Quality Control department. This position aids and supports the Quality Control Manager in ensuring the laboratory's compliance with cGMPs
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Follow company policies and procedures.
Receiving samples submitted to the laboratory
Monitoring inventory, ordering and receiving laboratory supplies and chemicals
Maintaining material specifications in LIMS
Preparation of Certificates of Analysis
Maintain outside laboratory qualification program
Coordinating the sending of samples for outside testing
Inputting outside test results into LIMS
Maintain laboratory calibration program
Maintain laboratory records and retains
Perform additional Quality Control support tasks as assigned
REQUIREMENTS (Qualifications):
Education/Experience:
High school diploma/GED and 1 year of experience in related field
Associate degree with classes in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Microbiology a plus
Technical Skills / Other Requirements:
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong attention to detail, organizational and writing skills.
String computer skills; proficiency in Word, Excel, and Adobe.
