Continuous Improvement Coordinator

Description:
The Continuous Improvement Specialist will support the site leader in implementation and enhancement of LEAN principles.
Primary responsibilities:
-
Manage department visual boards including targets, paretos and 5S
-
Monthly support of 5S documentation and validation
-
Participate in Kaizen events
-
Administrative support of continuous improvement efforts and projects across involved departments
-
Process and workstation improvement and standardization
Qualifications:
-
Foundational understanding of LEAN principles
-
Understanding of structured problem solving (10-step, DMAIC, etc.)
-
Strong organizational skills
-
Strong communication skills to support working with employees in multiple roles and departments
-
Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
