Estimated Annual Salary: $120,000 - $160,000

We are seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Project Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives and establishing lean manufacturing processes to enhance our operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and manage projects that deliver significant savings year over year.
  • Track all CI projects occurring throughout the facility and drive them to completion.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating process improvement projects, training workshops, and root cause analysis.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement improvements and embrace lean culture change.
  • Interface with manufacturing personnel to improve existing processes, increase safety, and solve ergonomic concerns.
  • Utilize creativity, innovative approaches, and industry-accepted methodologies to solve complex problems.
  • Implement 5S, SMED, Value Stream Mapping, and Standard Work projects.
  • Collaborate with other CI project champions as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or 10+ years of equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in lean manufacturing environments.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green belt preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience with project management.
  • Excellent technical skills and ability to execute Lean in engineering environments.
  • Strong analytical and coaching skills.
  • Ability to influence leadership across functions and at various levels.
  • Results-oriented, transparent, and accountable with a strong customer focus.
  • Passionate about achieving results through people development and process improvement.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
