Summary:

The company seeks a skilled professional with extensive experience working with Paint Robots, particularly in Low Viscosity Paint Robot & Circulation Systems, High Viscosity Robot & Delivery Systems, and Bumper Paint Robot & Circulation Systems. The role involves project planning, understanding paint standards, equipment installation, and knowledge of fire safety codes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Equipment Planning Group (EPG) with implementing equipment standards and specifications.
  • Review and draft standards for equipment, route them for approval and share approved standards with the team.
  • Project planning and managing equipment procurement and installation.
  • Understand and apply paint standards (OSHA, PSHSR, ISO/NFPA, CSA, ANSI, etc.).
  • Participate in meetings and observations, including potential travel to Canada and Mexico (approximately 20% travel required).
  • Work effectively within a team environment.

  • Controls & Software Experience
  • Industry 4.0 knowledge for data monitoring and equipment standards
  • Understanding of Fire Safety Standards
  • Familiarity with National Electric Codes (NEC & NFPA)
Requirements:
  • Years of Experience: Around 15 years of total experience, with 5-10 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Preferred Industry Experience: Construction, Automotive, Military, Electric.
