Paint Process Engineer

Technical Engineer - Paint focused
Georgetown, Kentucky
- Extensive experience in working with Paint Robots,
- 5-10 years of experience required in Low Viscosity Paint Robot & Circulation Systems/High Viscosity Robot & Delivery Systems/Bumper Paint Robot & Circulation Systems.
- Project Planning, knowledge of paint standards (OSHA, PSHSR, ISO/NFPA, CSA, ANSI, etc.- atleast exposure is required), equipment Installation experience, knowledge of fire safety code.
- This individual will be reviewing standard for each equipment, drafting standards and routing them for approval, getting it approved and the sharing with the team.
- The individual should be able to get successful in the team environment.
- Bachelor is required and hybrid position and local candidates only.
- If International, to/from which countries? Could include travel to Canada & Mexico
Other responsibilities will include the following:
- Project Planning
- Knowledge and expertise in Paint Standards (OSHA, PSHSR, ISO/NFPA, CSA, ANSI, etc.) atleast exposure is required.
- Controls & Software Experience – Nice to have nut not mandatory.
- Industry 4.0 -New standard for equipping the lines with data monitoring and setting the standards, required for new equipment - Nice to have but not mandatory
- Fire Safety Standards – Some knowledge would be fine.
- Code (NEC & NFPA) – National electric codes - Nice to have nut not mandatory.
- Equipment Procurement and Installation
Requirements:
- Years of experience: Around 15 years in total experience
- 5-10 years of relevant experience of given 3 systems in automotive industry would be great.
Education:
- Bachelors required
Preferred Industry : Construction, Automotive, Military, Electric.
