Work Arrangement:
On-site
Candidate Preferences:
Local candidates will be prioritized.
Contract Duration:
This position is for several months with the potential for extension.
Educational Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
Overtime Expectations:
Overtime may be required, including weekdays, weekends, holidays, and odd hours.
Travel Requirements:
Travel is necessary, with both domestic and international destinations.
Primarily to Mexico and Canada, with possible trips to Japan.
Travel will involve equipment installation, robot programming, and controls engineering tasks.
Immediate travel may be required based on experience level and business needs, but not exceeding three continuous months.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform online and offline programming for robots and PLCs.
2. Oversee equipment installation and ensure compliance with body weld standards during new installations and model changes.
3. Confirm the functionality of all safety devices and monitor production activities in the body weld area.
4. Acquire knowledge of BPE standards, set up equipment, and provide training on new machinery.
5. Assist with production processes from the start of production (SOP).
6. Troubleshoot electrical control systems to maintain operational efficiency.
