Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (Anti-Coagulation) Opening in Danbury, Connecticut (60 miles from New York City)

Nuvance Health is seeking a Part-time 0.9 FTE Nurse Practitioner to join our Danbury Anti-coagulation department based in Danbury, Connecticut, (Fairfield County) located about 60 miles northeast of New York City and near the border of Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York. This is a Monday through Friday schedule.

The ideal candidate will be a board-certified Nurse Practitioner looking to join a dedicated and collegial team. Previous experience as an APRN in anticoagulation and/or Medicine preferred. Position includes both inpatient and outpatient work at the Danbury Hospital campus and outpatient office. This position will provide initial and ongoing clinical assessment and education of patients on anticoagulation therapies under the supervision of the Medical Director. Coordinates and provides care at Anticoagulation Center satellite locations as developed.

Danbury, Connecticut, located in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains and on the border of New York State, is about 60 miles northeast of New York City and 60 miles west of Hartford, CT. As part of the greater NY metropolitan area, the city of Danbury enjoys both proximity to New York City culture and access to a wide array of four season recreational activities. The area has highly rated public and private school options and nearby universities. Boston, New York City, New Haven and Hartford are easily accessible via train or car.
