Summary and Role Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic Corporate Marketing Manager to elevate our brand presence for Ansys Government Initiatives (AGI) and drive strategic cross-functional initiatives that strengthen our position with U.S. government customers. This role is pivotal in aligning the Ansys brand strategy with AGI objectives, ensuring cohesive and impactful execution across all marketing channels. The ideal candidate will blend creativity with a metrics-driven approach to enhance our market position and deliver a consistent AGI brand message.

This position will report to the Manager, Corporate Campaigns & Events for Ansys.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Brand strategy development:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies that align with AGI's business objectives.
    • Oversee the creation and maintenance of AGI brand guidelines to ensure consistent messaging and visual identity.
    • Analyze market trends and government customer insights to refine AGI brand positioning and differentiation.
  • Cross-functional collaboration:
    • Collaborate with product, sales, customer excellence, and other teams to integrate with marketing initiatives across the company.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to execute AGI-specific marketing campaigns and events, ensuring alignment with brand and business goals.
    • Facilitate regular meetings and communication between teams to synchronize efforts and share insights.
  • Content and Communications:
    • Craft clear and persuasive messaging for internal and external communications, reflecting the unique value proposition of AGI while fully aligning with the Ansys brand.
    • Develop compelling content for various platforms, including digital, print, and social media, to enhance AGI brand awareness and engagement.
  • Project Management and Reporting:
    • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of brand campaigns and events through key performance indicators (KPIs)
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies, including compliance and data protection requirements that are unique to government customers.
    • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform marketing strategies and identify opportunities.
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience (5-7 years) working with U.S. Federal business, U.S. Federal Aerospace & Defense, and Government entities.
  • US citizenship is required (for data systems access).
  • Security clearance or ability/willingness to obtain it (for marketing activities in the classified arena).
  • Team player with excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and build positive relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for design, branding, and storytelling, and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, such as Salesforce, marketing automation, and analytics software.
  • Adaptable to fast-paced environments and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools to track and measure campaign performance and ROI.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and an unwavering commitment to quality and excellence.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed.
