Passion for our mission and vision is required This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin's multiple Blue Moon lander product lines. To further Blue Origin's mission of having millions of people living and working in space, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface. As part of a hardworking team of diverse engineers, you will contribute to the definition and development of spacecraft thermal control systems. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment, contributing to innovative solutions, while demonstrating personal leadership, technical competence, and attention to detail. You will work directly with NASA and our National Team Partners as part of the Human Landing System (HLS) Sustaining Lunar Development (SLD) program. You will play a key role in developing our New Lunar Vehicle that will return humans to the Moon and extend human presence permanently beyond the bounds of E You will be aSenior Thermal Systems Engineering Lead within the Thermal Integrated Product Team (Thermal IPT). You will be responsible for performing and leading Thermal Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) tasks and delivering SEIT-related products. This person will work closely with the Thermal Analysts and Designers, but also across all other IPTs to ensure successful execution of the Thermal Subsystem in the larger spacecraft and mission. Contribute to a team of Thermal Engineers simultaneously developing groundbreaking lunar landers. Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership to the team through the vehicle life cycle from definition, interfaces, conceptual design, detailed design, component development, assembly, verification, and operation Develop & manage Thermal specifications and requirements (at subsystem and component-levels) Develop & manage Thermal interfaces, including Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and models (in collaboration with adjacent IPTs) Decompose requirements from system and subsystem-levels into lower-level requirements Mentor early-career Thermal Systems Engineers on the Lunar Program Standardize Thermal Systems Engineering approaches Own the verification and validation of Thermal requirements, in collaboration...
