Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Community Relations Manager to join our team at LifeCenter Organ Donor Network. As a Community Relations Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with the community, stakeholders, and partners. You will also be responsible for managing and executing impactful community outreach programs and events to increase donor registrations. This person will be a critical thinker who aligns the department goals with maintaining brand integrity and public trust.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain positive relationships with the community, stakeholders, internal teams, agencies and partners

- Plan, manage, and execute community outreach programs and events

- Lead a team of 4-5 Community Relations associates while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration

- Mentor, coach and develop opportunities for direct reports

- Protect our brand image through strategic communication and maintain a compassionate organizational image

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure community needs are met

- Develop and implement strategies to increase community engagement and participation

- Monitor and analyze community feedback and adjust strategies accordingly

- Manage and maintain community relations budget

- Oversee collateral material, including, but not limited to, brochures and press kits

- Represent the organization at community events and meetings

We are a non-profit organ procurement organization that serves 16 counties saving and healing lives through organ, eye and tissue donation. Our vision is to honor, inspire and connect with our community until all in need receive the gift of donation.

Requirements

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field

- Proven experience in community relations or related field

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong organizational and project management skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms

- Knowledge of community outreach strategies and tactics

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
