We're seeking a detail-oriented Regulatory Specialist to ensure regulatory compliance and support product development.

This role ensures packaging and labeling meet regulatory standards, supports product development, manages costing and pricing, and collaborates cross-functionally for successful product launches.

Key Responsibilities:

\- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure packaging and labeling meet standards; verify ingredient statements and nutritional info; ensure USDA compliance.

\- Product Development: Obtain product specs and certifications from suppliers; manage samples; ensure timely delivery and quality.

\- Costing and Pricing: Calculate and analyze product costs; optimize recipes for cost and quality.

\- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with sales, marketing, production, and QA teams to ensure smooth product launches.

\- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements for compliance and development.

Qualifications:

\- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Regulatory Affairs, or related field.

\- 3+ years of experience in food industry regulatory compliance and product development.

\- Knowledge of USDA guidelines; strong analytical, costing, and pricing skills.

\- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities; proficient in Microsoft Office and regulatory software.

Working Conditions:

\- Full-time in Newark, NJ; occasional travel to suppliers; collaborative work environment with growth opportunities.
