- Opens office daily and attends offices hours from 9am - 4pm Monday - Friday.
- Ensures that all employees receive a Tuberculosis test.
- Ensures that all caregivers are trained to administer the required care.
- Aides the HR team to help select the most appropriate caregiver for clients' needs.
- Ensures that care is provided according to all relevant policies, procedures & regulations.
- Investigates and resolves client complaints.
- Educate and instruct staff and clients on any electronic systems.
- Conducts new assessments, reassessments and supervisory visits as needed.
- Conducts satisfaction surveys with clients and completes incident reports as needed.
- Ensures that client satisfaction surveys are completed every 76 to 104 days.
- Handles all other duties assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Knowledge of Basic First Aid and current CPR Certification.
- One year-full time experience in personal care or an institutional setting, such as a hospital or nursing home, OR one-year full-time experience within the last five years in direct client care in a home care agency setting; OR
- Evidence of sympathetic attitude toward elderly care.
- Demonstrated ability to read, write and carry out directions.
- Evidence of maturity and ability to deal effectively with job demands.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Participate in professional meetings and in-service training when directed.
- Must have a negative TB test (within the last 365 days) or Chest x-ray.
- Must have a criminal history check conducted.
- Must have dependable transportation.
- Must have the ability to utilize electronic verification systems for time keeping and documentation purposes.
- Must be available during the weekdays & some weekends as required.
