Job Description:

The Customer Logistics Coordinator will play a key role in managing the relationship between the carrier, customer, and sales groups for assigned accounts. The candidate responsible for becoming familiar with the customer's organization, understanding their product needs, and partnering with the Sales team to deliver high-level customer service. This position will involve a flexible work schedule, filling in for various shifts including nights, early mornings, and some weekends.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned external customers, managing all aspects of the relationship.
  • Analyze incoming emails, providing prompt and effective resolutions.
  • Maintain positive relationships with key internal contacts, utilizing dispatch systems (e.g., TES, LME, FOUR KITES) and external scheduling systems (e.g., Retailix, Retail Link, UNFI).
  • Stay knowledgeable of both internal policies and external customers' organizational structure and procedures.
  • Identify cost-effective solutions and resolve any issues impacting the delivery process.
  • Ensure accurate product delivery and positive representation of the company's relationship with customers.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in transportation or logistics.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of dispatch experience in logistics/transportation (local dispatch experience, such as tow trucks, is not applicable).
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in MS Office applications.
    • Ability to manage up to 300+ emails daily.
    • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Conflict management, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to multi-task and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
Training:
  • Schedule: Mon-Fri, 0800-1700 for at least 3 weeks.
