The Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. This mid-level position will be responsible for providing clinical assistance to our physicians and nurses in the medical office setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and check them in, manage and update patient records and files, schedule appointments, and provide medical office administrative support.

• Assist in minor procedures, take vital signs, review medical history, and prepare examination rooms prior to patient visits.

• Assist in minimally invasive therapies.

• Chronic care management.

• Answer phones, respond to patient calls and emails, and direct patients to appropriate resources.

Desired Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in medical assisting from an accredited school.

• At least three years of medical office experience.

• Current CPR certification and medical terminology knowledge.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Proficient at administering IVs

Nice-to-Haves:

• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records systems.

• In-depth knowledge of medical coding.

• Current License from State Board of Clinical Laboratory Science.

• Experience in a fast-paced medical office.

• Bilingual – English and Spanish.
