We at E57 Partners are looking for professionals to be a Senior Tax Associate for our client with diversified holdings in technology, real estate, and healthcare. Our client has experienced substantial growth since their inception almost 20 years ago. This onsite role will work in their Dallas office.

The perfect candidate will be highly skilled in partnership tax and will interact closely with the divisional accounting teams. Our client puts an emphasis on culture and team unity understanding there is great value in incorporating different perspectives.

Senior Tax Associate

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • 3-4 years of tax experience, specifically in partnership tax
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and responsible
  • Eager to obtain mastery of complex tax concepts
  • Must currently live in the DFW metroplex and be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • CPA license or progress toward obtaining
  • Big 4 experience
  • Alternative funds knowledge and experience
  • Expertise with intricate partnership concepts and allocation methods


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Prepare federal and state tax returns for a subset of the firm's business entities.
  • Oversee annual investor reporting and tax filings for multiple businesses, managing both federal and state/local returns prepared in-house and by external tax service providers.
  • Ensure that reporting for the firm is accurate, timely, complete, and consistent.
  • Collaborate with accounting teams to collect financial information for K1 reporting and the tax preparation process.
  • Handle communications with tax authorities, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
  • Work closely with the accounting team on cash management matters related to taxes, including managing tax liabilities, estimated tax payments, and withholding.
  • Assist in preparing tax basis financial statements, ensuring they are accurate and complete in relation to filed returns.
  • Monitor changes in federal and state tax legislation to ensure compliance with new laws and requirements.
  • Assist with legal entity management and compliance with regulatory filings.
  • Assist Tax Director and Tax Manager with special projects.
