About the Role

RSM is seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior Associate to join our team. As a key member of our Tax Exempt practice, you will be responsible for providing tax guidance and planning to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Prepare complex tax returns, develop and implement tax strategies, and provide detailed review and analysis of tax returns.
  • Client Service: Interact directly with clients, perform research and conclusions on tax issues, and remain up-to-date on tax practices and changes in tax law.
  • Leadership: Develop, motivate, and train staff to ensure exceptional client service and technical expertise.
Requirements
  • Education: BA/BS Degree in Accounting or related field, and eligibility to sit for the CPA exam or a licensed JD.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting, with experience preparing and reviewing returns.
  • Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills, strong technical skills in accounting and tax preparation, and experience with national or large regional accounting firms.
