Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate medical assistant to join our team. As a medical assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting providers in the delivery of exceptional patient care. In this position, you will be responsible for various administrative and clinical duties. Must be available to travel to our clinic locations in Dubois, Punxsutawney, and Clearfield.

Responsibilities
Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment
Obtain and update patient medical history, including vital signs and current medications
Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization
Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and follow-ups
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health systems
Provide patient education and answer questions or concerns
Assist with patient billing and insurance claims

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a certified medical assistant program
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Proficiency in medical software and electronic health record systems
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently
Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and diagnoses
Ability to adhere to confidentiality and privacy regulations
Endocrinology experience preferred, but not required
