As a Medical Assistant at Lung Innovations Network, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the smooth operation of our healthcare facility. Your primary responsibility will be to provide essential administrative support that enhances patient care and ensures efficient workflow within the medical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct patient interviews and accurately document medical histories.
- Manage appointment scheduling and organization.
- Maintain and update medical records and insurance documentation.
- Coordinate hospital admissions and laboratory services.
- Assist in preparing patient charts and follow up with patients as needed.
- Support healthcare professionals during examinations.
- Draft and distribute correspondence, including memos and forms.
- Oversee financial records, including accounts receivable and payable.
- Ensure treatment rooms and medical instruments are clean and prepared.
- Demonstrated experience as a medical assistant or in a similar administrative role.
- Familiarity with medical office management systems and procedures.
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on service orientation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Robust organizational and planning capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and patient management software.
- Certification in medical assistance is required.
