Serve as an ERP, (PeopleSoft), Data Warehouse and/or Business Intelligence subject matter expert, providing Solution recommendations and helping to resolve complex challenges.

Assist the State with its responsibilities as described by Resource type below.

Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence ERP Resource/s

  • Conducting a gap analysis to identify where data in PeopleSoft, is not available in the Data Warehouse for reporting.

  • Conducting and/or creating a mapping of legacy data to Florida PALM data to support end- user reporting.

  • Assisting with the data architecture (D&A Architecture) approach.

  • Assisting with data modeling.

  • Assisting with development standards and implementing the data governance model.

  • Assisting with testing and validating the Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions are working correctly, contain the correct data, and are being properly and timely refreshed.

  • Assisting with cutover planning and execution.

  • Assisting with data security setup, recommendations and overall user access management.

Test Planning and Coordination ERP Resource

  • Assisting with the advancement of developing complex, integrated testing plans.

  • Coordinate with business stakeholders to establish readiness for testing, timing, and so on for their business and enterprise systems.

  • Assisting with the development of the batch schedule, including making recommendations on critical batch process; includes ensuring dependencies are correctly identified to ensure accurate processing and to prevent delays.

  • Assisting the Department with other responsibilities as requested.

Financial Reporting ERP Resource

  • Assisting with configuration of various general ledger values, trees, and so forth.

  • Assisting with the implementation of the financial reporting solution to ensure the State is able to accurately and timely develop the Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports (ACFR).

  • Developing data mapping to support the ACFR and agency financial reporting needs.

  • Developing complex PeopleSoft queries to support the ACFR and agency financial reporting needs.

  • Assisting with the integration to the State's ACFR reporting software (Workiva).

  • Assisting end-users with understanding data, reporting approaches, and so on to support accurate creation of financial statements.

  • Assisting with testing activities.

  • Assisting the Department with other responsibilities as requested.

Purchasing/Accounts Payable ERP Resource

  • Supporting the State Project team with key activities as requested.

  • Assisting with the implementation of the purchasing and accounts payable modules to ensure accurate budgetary impacts are recorded and accurate payments are generated and reported, including integration with other PeopleSoft modules (e.g., the general ledger).

  • Assisting with data mapping and other activities to assist agencies transition from the legacy financial reporting solution to Florida PALM.

  • Developing complex PeopleSoft queries to business needs.

  • Assisting support integration with other business and enterprise systems.

  • Assisting with testing activities.

  • Assisting the Department with other responsibilities as requested.

  • Complete knowledge transfer and training activities to the identified parties, as directed by the Department's Contract Manager or delegate.

  • Provide overall Project support, which includes:

  • Providing updates to Project status reporting; Coordinating with the Project Directors and Architects to develop and update templates for Project use; Facilitating meetings, promoting teamwork, and providing training as requested; Tracking, mitigating, and escalating risks and issues; Maintaining tools for the Project team's use; Researching, collecting, evaluating, and refining the data and tools necessary to meet Project goals.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Department's Contract Manager, and/or their delegate.

  • Complete transition services, including facilitating lessons-learned meetings; creating a lessons-learned document related to ERP support services; and providing all the documents, software, software licenses, and other Project artifacts to the Project team.

Minimum Experience.

Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence Resource:

  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience performing activities directly related to a Data Warehouse implementation, database design and database administration (DBA). Experience includes implementing or maintaining Oracle data warehouse and business intelligence tools such as the following examples:

  • Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)

  • Oracle Analytical Server (OAS)

  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

  • Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI)

  • Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)

  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience performing activities directly related to data modeling (logical and semantic) and metadata management Experience with data warehouse fundamentals such as SQL, OLAP (Online Analytical Processing), star and snowflake schemas, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, Informatica, Tidal, and Business Intelligence Application Configuration Manager (BIACM).

  • Must be able to work with difficult customers to ensure testing objectives are met accurately and on- time.

  • Must have strong organizational skills.
