Principal Nuclear Engineer

This is a staff augmentation role government contractor working at the Savannah River Site (SRS) with the Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS), under the Department of Energy (DoE). You would be a fulltime employee of TechSource. 1168

About this contract:

  • 1-year with opportunity for 2-3 year extension
  • 100% onsite to SRNS
  • Monday-Thursday from 6:00 am - 4:30 pm

Required

  • Minimum of a Bachelors degree in chemical engineering, ideally a PhD
  • Minimum of 10+ years' of experience with:
    • Nuclear or industrial engineering experience
    • Chemical processing controls/operations knowledge and experience
    • Project design/requirements specifications

  • An ability to obtain and maintain a level Q security clearance
  • An ability to come onsite 5 days a week

Preferred

  • Experience with configuration management
  • Nuclear material processing experience
  • Previous DoE experience is preferred
  • Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance ("Q") within the past two years are preferred.
