Cirrus Aircraft is currently seeking a part-time Materials Handler Intern based in Duluth, MN from Mid-August through December 2024.

Schedule:

  • Flexible schedule, roughly 16-20 hours per week.

Job Duties:

  • Unpacks, examines, counts and labels incoming material.

  • Records receipts and reports discrepancies.

  • Compares and matches paperwork such as packing slips and certifications with purchase orders.

  • Transports goods and may utilize material handling equipment and vehicles.

  • Performs receiving, put away, picking, packing and shipping of goods.

  • Ensure proper product handling and storage to prevent abuse, misuse, damage or deterioration.

  • Obtain, prepare aircraft parts for shipment to the Aftermarket customer base.

  • Obtain, prepare aircraft parts for delivery to the production floor, convey in a timely fashion.

  • Maintain an inventory control and management system, including work order closing.

  • Support all facility regulatory and safety codes.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy and accessibility.

Qualifications:

  • Current 2- or 4-year student pursuing a relevant associate degree in business, management, supply chain, general studies, etc.

  • Excellent customer service skills with a strong desire to help others.

  • Strong organizational skills to efficiently and effectively achieve daily working objectives.

  • High attention to detail.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background check.

  • Must be able to complete entire duration of Internship.

  • Must be able to secure local housing for duration of Internship.
