Job Responsibilities:

Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a Voice Engineer to join our team supporting the DISA CENTCOM Field Office based on-site at MacDill AFB, FL

  • After 90 days of employment, there is a possiblitity to work a hybrid schedule

  • Design, manage, and maintain a large, complex Voice infrastructure

  • Troubleshoot all aspects of the Voice network, must be organized, document oriented, possess skills in Visio diagramming, and understand WAN principals

  • Design, configure and troubleshoot QoS classification, marking and prioritization of network traffic (voice, critical applications, etc.)

  • Configure route plans, route lists, device profiles, calling search spaces, and partition

  • Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active, in-scope US Government issuedSecretclearance to start and be able to upgraded to Top Secret.

  • Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements,US Citizenship required.

  • Experience with Cisco Voice platforms, Call Manager, Unity, VOIP gateway, SIP, PRI’s, Dialing plans, and Cisco Unified Boundary Element (CUBE)

  • Demonstrated knowledge of complex programming and troubleshooting of telephony switches systems including Nortel CS2100, CS1000, and SL100

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the following technologies and/or platforms: voice switch infrastructure experience including Nortel CS1000 and M1; digital communications including: OCx, DS1, DS3, Fiber, ISDN, VoIP

  • A current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g. Security+ CE) is required.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or additional 4 years of voice experience in leiu of degree.
