Description:

The Senior Technology Advisor II is responsible for revenue growth from existing and new clients via relationship management lifecycle with Applied Tech managed service clients.

This position will work with existing Applied Tech clients and prospects and in collaboration with Applied Tech's Technical Strategy, Revenue Management, Managed Services Teams to implement IT strategies that align with roadmaps for clients and deliver a world class client experience.

The goals are to strengthen client relationships, ensure value is being delivered through managed services, and meet expected new revenue sales through upsell/cross sell, project, and new client opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Successfully Manage a client Book of Business exceeding $5M in recurring revenue.
  • Conduct Technology Business Reviews (TBRs) on a recurring basis.
  • Meet with clients regularly to maintain and strengthen relationships.
  • Work with current clients to develop a deep understanding of their needs and translate those needs into solutions to help them innovate, grow, and mitigate security.
  • Facilitate with client and Technical Strategy team to formalize budgetary and operational processes so that a technology roadmap and associated budget is in place.
  • Look for client process improvement opportunities to reduce operational complexities.
  • Continually promote Applied Tech value with the client and work with Applied Tech departments to ensure service and project work are working to the client's satisfaction.
  • Qualify new sales opportunities and manage the sales lifecycle for current clients.
  • Lead action plans to develop proposals, quotes and respond to RFP/RFI documents, effectively collaborating with the Technical Strategy and Revenue Management Teams.
  • Look for opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling services and solutions to existing clients.
  • Acquire new logo clients, leveraging existing client referrals and collaborating with Marketing.
  • Maintain sales opportunities within CRM so they accurately reflect the potential sales activity within the client base. Also, actively participate in Opportunity Management review sessions.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Applied Tech service catalog and how it relates to client's needs.
  • Establish and maintain client expectations for Applied Tech provided services and solutions.
  • Effectively communicate features and benefits of solutions and manage client expectations throughout the lifecycle of the account.
  • Achieve and maintain a positive rapport with clients and work to give them the best possible service.
  • Maintain CRM account and contact information to reflect the current account status.
  • Adhere to all standards and guidelines developed by the management team as well as the employee handbook.
Education and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a computer related field
  • 10+ years Technology Solution sales experience
  • 5+ years' managing a MSP client Book of Business
  • 5+ years' experience managing successful client relationships exceeding $20K MRR
  • 5+ years' of Managed Service Provider (MSP) technology sales experience
  • 5+ years' New Logo Managed Services Provider sales experience
  • 5+ years' facilitating complex Business Technology Reviews, Strategy Advisory and Budget planning
  • 5+ years' formal sales methodology training and experience (e.g. MEDDIC, Sandler, Challenger)
  • 5+ years' CRM experience (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • 5+ years' Sales Pipeline Management and Forecasting experience
  • Outstanding communication and customer service experience
  • Manage the complexity of service proposals, contracts, and service level agreements.

Physical Requirements
• Most of the support we provide is remote, and you'll be asked to interact with computers daily for extended periods of time. This could be standing or sitting but could be up to 8 hours a day or more.
• There are situations where you may also need to travel to a client site, so the ability to travel legally and safely is a must.
• Ability to frequently and accurately communicate with employees, customers, and vendors in person, via the telephone, or by email.
