Job Description

As a Multi-Channel Communication Systems Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and uninterrupted flow of vital information for the military's strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of the Army National Guard's communication systems in tactical and strategic environments.

  • Install, operate, and maintain multi-channel transmission diagnostic equipment, devices, and antennae
  • Set up transmitters, receivers, cable modems, ultra-high frequency antennas, line-of-sight satellites, and cable link systems
  • Perform maintenance on assigned equipment, vehicles, security devices, and power generators
  • Analyze BIT/BITE diagnostics to isolate Line Replaceable Unit faults
  • Operate radio equipment

Requirements

  • Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
  • High School diploma or GED certificate
  • Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
  • Pass physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
  • Meet citizenship requirements
