SURGICAL TECHNICIAN JOB SUMMARY:

  • Responsible for assisting the doctors during surgeries and managing the materials before, during and after surgeries.

SURGICAL TECHNICIAN ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist doctors with In-Office procedures and surgeries at Surgery Center
  • Material Management including counting instruments before and after operations.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies.
  • Assisting the Surgery Center Director when necessary
  • Maintain proper sterile field during surgeries.
  • Wash and sterilize equipment.
  • Monitor operating room conditions.
  • Operate, assemble, adjust, and monitor equipment during surgeries.

SURGICAL TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Surgical Technician Certification Preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience working in critical care, OR and hospital.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Problem solving skills and patience.
  • Effective oral and written interpersonal communication skills.
