- Brand Ambassador
- Represents Market of Choice from a deep brand position in our stores and communities. Always puts brand first, immediately followed by engagement growth and ROI in concept development and event decision making.
- Maximizes brand exposure in our communities, working to make a personal connection as the face and voice of Market of Choice.
- Event Development & Implementation
- Responsible for the development and implementation of all events across Southern Oregon stores both on site and in the community. This includes but is not limited to:
- Concept development
- Budgeting and holding to budget
- Responsible for the development and implementation of all events across Southern Oregon stores both on site and in the community. This includes but is not limited to:
- Communication across relevant suppliers, departments and managers
- Equipment acquisition as needed
- Set up and tear downs
- Have and maintain a driving record acceptable by our insurance company; report any driving violations to direct supervisor
- Responsible for booking and managing vendor tastings including:
- Communication
- Scheduling
- Same day confirmations
- Responsible for staffing MoC product and vendor demos.
- Will represent MoC at community events including but not limited to:
- Chamber of Commerce
- Youth sports events
- Community
- Corporate and store-level collaboration and accountability:
- Reports to VP of Marketing for all approvals, concept development support, weekly activity reporting and bi monthly planning meetings.
- Works closely with each store manager to ensure onsite activities meet the needs and expectations of store teams.
- Works with Corporate Marketing Designers for all posters, fliers, banners, other event visual needs and messaging.
- Works with Corporate Digital Media team for social posting, Google ads, targeted emails, other digital needs.
- Works with Corporate Sales Managers as needed for relevant department events.
- Customer and employee relations
- Outstanding service to both external and internal customers (vendors, managers, teammates, store teams)
- Communicate in a professional and courteous manner verbally, in writing and by telephone
- Controlling expenses
- Proper storage and usage of products and supplies

- Create and maintain accurate store records

- Responsibility to all stores and departments
- Obligation to fellow employees
- Share in the responsibility of the results of the company
- General housekeeping, maintenance and cleaning
- Ability to be self-managed, driven, creative, focused on solutions with a positive impact while being highly accountable.
- Skilled in MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to learn and use Adobe Suite.
- Regular, reliable and timely attendance at the work site and an ability to work regular or irregular hours on a consistent basis. Schedule must be flexible due to the nature of events.
- Adherence with all established Market of Choice policies and procedures and brand expectations.
- The ability to engage in face-to-face interactions with vendors, customers, and co-workers on a regular basis
- The ability to maintain a positive attitude, cooperate with others and work as part of a team
- Attendance at all required trainings
- The ability to use Market of Choice resources effectively and efficiently to reach goals
- The ability to clearly and concisely communicate in verbal and written form with customers, co-workers and vendors

- The ability to stay abreast of current laws and regulations relevant to the position

- The ability to use various office software packages, including word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, calendaring, e-mail management and the Internet, and to create, compose and edit written and electronic materials
- The ability to create, develop and maintain relationships with key professional contacts in the community.
- Reliable transportation able to carry necessary equipment for the job (foldable tent, table, cooler, etc.)
